ITBS Scores
June 23, 2011 11 am
Three fundamental purposes for ITBS testing are 1) to describe each student’s developmental level within a test area, 2) to identify a student’s areas of relative strength and weakness in subject areas, and 3) to monitor year-to-year growth in the basic skills.
Below is a link to the bar graphs that show how Ames Christian School class scores compare to the National Percentile Ranking and the Iowa Percentile Ranking in a composite of all subject areas (shown in grey) and the three core achievement levels: Reading, Math, and Science ( shown in black). Link to ITBS 2011 Scores.
The Grade Equivalent Chart compares ACS class grade equivalent averages to the State and National grade equivalent averages. Only classes with three or more students appear on the graphs. These graphs reflect Ames Christian School’s overall strengths:
- High State and National Core and Composite percentile rankings.
- Above grade level learning compared to the State and National Grade Equivalent
- Personalized Christian Education produces higher achievement levels
- Small class sizes increase learning potential
